These series of long-exposure photographs explores light in motion using a fibre-optic lamp. By tracing light over a human face in each image, I aimed to capture and express emotion, creating movement and energy within still portraits. The repetition across the series allows different emotions and forms to emerge, transforming light into a tool for drawing and expression.
Light trails created by multiple cars highlight the speed and movement of passing vehicles, turning ordinary traffic into flowing, abstract patterns. Using a high viewpoint and long exposure enhances the sense of motion, rhythm, and time.
